well, folks, i am in love. yes, love.

"andrea? in love?" you ask.
"yes," i say.
"holy crap! who is he?" you ask.
"it's not a he," i say.
"ah, i always suspected... who is she?" you ask.
"she's my iPod shuffle," i say.

and then you mutter a few words about how you didn't _really_ think i was gay, and there's some uncomfortable laughter, followed by me showing you my cute little iPod. i think her name is shirley. anyways.

for once, it is not snowing or threatening snow. the forecast for this week so far looks mostly sunny, or at the very least partly cloudy. i will take partly cloudy any day, compared to the crap we've been having to deal with lately.

meredith and i are auditioning, essentially, this evening at open mic to play at someone's wedding. it will be fun to learn some songs that aren't our own, bitter, unrequited love songs. come on down to pace to see us if you have the evening free. a good time will be had by all. or at least some of us.  ¶ 12:28 PM
